Bad day at the poker tables.
Today was a terrible day at the tables. I know everyone has a bad day here and there, today was mine. The bad beats kept coming and the maniacs kept calling. I finally called it a night after pocket 22 hit a 2 on the river winning after being only 5% and knocking me out of a tournament. I consider myself a very patient player that does not tilt often but after tonight I was steaming. The best thing to do in this situation is to do exactly as I did realize it is “One of those nights” and stop playing.. quit.. x out.. turn off the computer. Do whatever it takes to stop playing. I say this because once a player gets in a state of tilt for a night it becomes almost impossible to win. A player in this state will often make over the top all-ins or bad all-in calls turning you into dead money.
