The flop came Ad Jd 10d. I just flopped the royal flush! This helped me triple up and allow me to survive long enough to reach the money. A little luck helps sometimes

I was playing on Party Poker and got dealt my favorite hands, pocket 10s. I raised with them, and a guy after me reraised. There was one other caller and I called. The flop was 5 A K rainbow, and the reraiser made a small bet into the pot. The 3rd player folds, and at this point I am about 80% certain that the guy has AK. However, the bet was small compared to the pot size, so I called hoping to hit a 3rd ten. A 10 comes on the turn to give me my set. However I tried to be clever and just called his bet on the turn. Another K comes on the river, the last card I wanted to see. He bets, and I feel that I have to call. Sure enough, he had AK for the higher full house. If Iwould’ve just pushed harder on the turn it would’ve made the hand feel better. I probably still would’ve lost, but he might’ve folded. But pushing when I did have the best hand would’ve made me feel better about my play.

I was playing in a $10 sit&go and I was in 2nd place with 3 people left. The short stack goes all-in. I have a feeling he has nothing and call with AQ. He turns over 82 offsuit. I catch a Q on the flop, but he catches an 8 on the turn and a 2 on the river to suck out on me and make me short stack. I pick up pocket Qs on the next hand, and immediately push all-in, hoping to convince the others I was steaming. I got called by pocket 7s, exactly what I had hoped for. In continuing with the theme, he catches a 7 to knock me out in third place.

I was doing well in a sit&go on Titan Poker. I had just flopped a set with my pocket 3s, I checked, a very aggressive player bet, and then I raised enough to put him all-in. He had top pair of kings with Queen kicker, and hit spades on the turn and the river to make a flush.

On my next pair I flopped two pair, Aces and Eights, and pushed all-in, he called me with J-9 offsuit, just a gutshot straight draw. I double up there thanks to his idiocy.

On my next hand I go all-in preflop with A-Q, figuring the maniac might give me another easy double up. He called me with 10-9 offsut, and hit a 10 on the river to knock me out. My only explanation for the way he played is drugs. So endeth the rant

I was playing in a Titan Poker $750 guaranteed tournament and after half an hour of play was dealt A10 suited, my best hand of the game so far. I was in the small blind so I got to wait to see what the others would do. The under-the-gun raised, there was one caller, and then the player on the button reraised a small amount. I was suspicious of all three players at this point, and knew that the only way for me to win was to hit my flush. I folded and the 3 remaining players continued raising unitl 2 of the 3 were all in. The hands were JJ QQ and AA. THe was was J Q 2, and so the guy with the most chips, AA got hurt with his great hand. Nobody got knocked out on this hand, but it was very interesting

I was playing in one of Titan Poker’s Dirty Dozen Sit&Gos today and with 6 players remaining, I was crippled badly. I folded my big blind after seeing a free flop, and was left with just enough chips to call the big blind from my small blind in the next hand. I was going to play whatever was dealt me since I was pot committed. I saw my cards appear on my monitor and immediately thought I was done. I had been dealt 2-5 offsuit.

I threw my chips in and watched for the killing blow. It never came.

There were two callers who checked it down, hoping that I would be knocked out. I had flopped a pair of fives, and the other two had nothing. I tripled up, but was still very far from safety.

I was dealt Q-7 suited in my next hand and pushed all-in from the button. I flopped the flush and tripled up again. Now I was in decent shape, and could play my game again, and I played it all the way to 1st place.

I was very grateful for the luck that had allowed me to redeem myself from the two consecutive mistakes that had put me in that perilous pit in the first place. Sometimes, seeing your own death just makes you even more dangerous.

I was playing in Titan Poker’s $200GP Freeroll Rebuy last night, and ended up winning the whole thing. I played solid poker in the beginning portion and began amassing chips. At the end of the rebuy period I was among the chip leaders.

The chip leader of the tournament was also at my table. I used this as my opportunity to begin playing more aggressive, daring others to challenge my stack. The other people at my table were more concerned with the chip leader, and wanted to take a bit of his stack more than they wanted to take a piece of mine.

I was able to maintain a tight image while doing this, as every time I had to show my hand I had the winner. I was siphoning my opponents chips into my coffers, and people began falling out of the tournament as the blinds became substantial.

Going into the final table I was a slight chip leader. Nothing spectacular occurred at the final table for a long while, with a marginal amount of chips shifting around. I lost about half my stack when I doubled up a player who caught a flush on the river to beat my two pair. I promptly returned the favor by knocking him out on the next hand with a flush of my own, and I was back on top again.

With 9 players left, I got dealt pocket queens, and took another player out, making me a massive chip leader over the table. We lost another player when my AK held up against AJ. I soon found pocket queens again and knocked two people out when I lucked out and caught a Q on the river for a full house to beat a set of kings.

Down to 5, I now had more than half of the chips, and whenever I had a good hand I raised all-in and dared everybody to call me and risk their tournament. I was folding enough so that they knew I wasn’t pushing with nothing, but they had no way of knowing just how good of a hand I had. People began calling with cards like A7, K10, and other such hands. I knocked out the next 3 players in this manner to bring us to heads up.

My opponent folded to my big blind on the very first hand of heads up. On the next hand in the small blind, I found myself holding AA. I just called and the flop came down king high. The turn was meaningless. My opponent made a small bet, which I called after waiting a few seconds. The river was a J and I immediately pushed all-in to force my opponent to make a decision. He called and showed his K4 for a pair of kings. I had slowplayed my aces to perfection, and thanks to my track record of pushing whenever I had hit even one of my cards, I managed to maneuver my opponent into calling. And that was the end of the tournament.
